We built an Innovation Hub for Direct Line, prototyped with a Claims Tracker. If you can track your pizza delivery, why shouldn’t you be able to track your insurance claim?!

Direct Line wanted to focus on developing breakthrough innovation to gain wider market traction. That’s where we came in to design and built a Group-Wide Innovation Framework to drive and embed disruptive innovation through the business.

We helped Direct Line become more agile by building their first rapid prototype, a digital self-serve claims manager, working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to create a functional MVP. Developing this proposition in parallel helped stress test the bespoke framework and coach the internal teams through the new innovation process to increase their innovation skills.

It’s always more exciting to showcase a positive business outcome underpinned by the new innovation framework than just the process on its own.
